Jael Scott is an actress and director with a penchant for shapeshifting. She has appeared in works shown at Sundance, South by Southwest, Amazon Prime, Chez Bushwick, Judson Church, Saint Bimbo Film Festival, Lincoln Center, and on stage across the nation.
Jael is passionate about developing transformative works about transgender people that offer visions of expansion & escape. Her performance and directing practices explore hypnotic women, alchemy, stunt, and identity. Jael is a founding member of Women Against Film, a film collective focused first and foremost on making work for and by trans women.
Outside of her work, Jael delights in feeding her friends and looking after her two imaginary sons, Mathew and Benjamin. Jael holds a BFA from Pace University. She is incredibly rich.
